Mechanical Design Engineer Full Time

Job Responsibilities:

• Report to Design Manager
• Scope of ACMV works in construction field/built environment.
• Understanding of ACMV engineering designs, calculations and system design. Eg. Greenmark, sustainable or renewable energy, safety, DFMA etc.
• Work with clients, consultants, BIM/ Project engineers to ensure compliance of engineering and safety requirement through design.
• Understanding regulatory, building codes and necessary standards for ACMV and accord expertise under such guidance
• Understand equipment/material technical selection requirements and establish good relationship with vendors.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical engineering or related, preferably acmv experience
• Degree in Sustainable Infrastructure may apply, No Experience are welcomed, open for senior positions as well depending on experience.
• Safety certified, minimum Bizsafe level 2, training will be provided if do not possess this qualification.
• Good language capability (English) both in written and spoken
• Strong independence and leadership in teamwork environment.
• Able to move around locally across various sites.
• SCEM certified is added advantage
• Knowledge in BIM is added advantage but not a must, inexperienced must be willing to learn as part of the scope of the work with training provided.

• Non BIM accreditations candidates willing to undertake BIM training will also be on fast progression
