Key Responsibilities
- To lead projects span highly technical sectors like automotive, medical device technology, and industrial components
- Project Planning & Execution: Manage the full project lifecycle, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation and delivery.
- Engineering Coordination: Oversee multidisciplinary engineering teams and ensure technical deliverables meet project requirements.
- Budget & Risk Management: Monitor costs, timelines and project risks, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Customer & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the key contact for customers, vendors and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure compliance with technical specifications, industry regulations, quality standards and safety requirements.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate and guide project team members to achieve project objectives.
- Progress Reporting: Conduct project meetings, track milestones and provide regular updates to management and customers.
- Continuous Improvement: Improve project execution processes and support technical input for proposals and quotations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, engineering documents and final handover documentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of project management experience in manufacturing, engineering, automation or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting and risk management.
- Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Good leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, ERP systems or other project management tools.
- Able to work independently, manage priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
- PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification is an advantage.
